Netflix has found the most success with the sci-fi genre this year with new releases such as War Machine (starring Alan Ritchson), but not every new sci-fi project is worthy of continuing in the streamer’s eyes. Netflix’s big sci-fi show of the year has been The Boroughs, which was produced by Stranger Things creators Ross and Matt Duffer, but the show was canceled after only one season while it still sat in the global top 10. Netflix recently shifted gears to the crime thriller model with its latest binge-worthy TV show, I Will Find You, which is based on source material from acclaimed author Harlan Coben. The show has racked up millions of views during its first few weeks on streaming, and while it’s billed as a limited series, fans are already pushing for a potential second season.
