It's Officially the End of an Era for Amazon's Best Crime Epic

Few actors have done as much with as little as Forest Whitaker has when it comes to Star Wars. He’s only appeared in a few projects, best known for his work in Andor, Rogue One and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, but his Saw Gerrera is without a doubt one of the most important figures in the story of Rebellion. Whitaker even earned an Emmy nod recently for his performance in the second and final season of Andor, which just wrapped up last year around this time. However, that’s far from the first time he’s been acknowledged by the Academy for his performance. Back in 2007, Whitaker won the Oscar for Best Lead Actor for his work in The Last King of Scotland, which co-stars James McAvoy, Gillian Anderson, and Kerry Washington.
