"It’s a Breathless Movie": Michael Cera Teases His Reunion With Edgar Wright in 'The Running Man'

Remakes can be a hit or a miss. The current industry trend sees most popular franchises of the past getting a sequel or prequel, which allows the filmmakers to play in the same sandbox but with different characters (or versions of them) and avoid direct comparison with the source material. However, one reboot fans are really excited about is Edgar Wright’s The Running Man, which stars Glen Powell in the lead. The movie is technically a reboot of Paul Michael Glaser’s 1987 dystopian feature of the same name, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, but according to Edgar Wright himself, the movie is more-so a new adaptation of Stephen King's original novel.. Given the sci-fi film is helmed by Wright and led by Powell, fans are excited to see how their collaboration turns out. And if we believe Michael Cera, who is part of the stellar ensemble cast and a previous collaborator of Wright's, we’re in for a ride.
