Some of the first truly great martial arts movies that still hold up today came out near the end of the 1960s (like Dragon Inn), and then the 1970s might well have been the best decade for the genre, or purists would probably say as much (doesn’t hurt to have classics like Enter the Dragon released that decade). So, why look at the 1980s, then? Why not?
