The second season of The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights Of The Apocalypse is coming to Netflix, but what is the show’s theme song? Read on to find out.

The new run of 12 episodes of the anime show is released onto the streaming service on Thursday (January 30), where the whole of the first season is also available.

The show is the sequel to the original The Seven Deadly Sins, which ran for five seasons from 2014 to 2021, and is based on the manga written and illustrated by Nakaba Suzuki.

Set years after the events of the original series, Knights Of The Apocalypse follows the journey of Percival, a kind-hearted boy with a mysterious destiny who discovers that he is one of the prophesied four warriors, destined to bring destruction to the world.

Produced by TMS Entertainment and animated by Telecom Animation Film, the first season aired from October 2023 to March 2024 and ran for 24 episodes, while the second season has already aired in Japan at the end of 2024.

Netflix carries not just both seasons of Knights Of The Apocalypse and the five seasons of The Seven Deadly Sins, but also the spinoff films Prisoners Of The Sky and Cursed By Light, as well as the two-part film series Grudge Of Edinburgh.

What is The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights Of The Apocalypse theme song?

The first season of the show had the song ‘Pride’ by the Japanese rock band UVERworld as its theme. The second season sticks with the group, this time using the original song ‘MMH’. Listen to the song below.

UVERworld were formed in Kusatsu in 2000 and have released 11 studio albums, most recently ‘Enigmasis’ in 2023.

This is not the first time their music has been used as the theme song for an anime show – their song ‘Odd Future’ was the theme to the third season of My Hero Academia, while ‘Touch Pff’ was also the theme to 2019’s The Promised Neverland.
