The Russians are in a good position to mediate between the Americans and the Iranians They've just signed a treaty with Iran It's actually a formal treaty which people overlook It needs ratification by both the parliaments The Russians have ratified the treaty I believe that the Iranians are due to ratify this month Um the treaty explicitly says that Iran will not acquire nuclear weapons
