The Oklahoma City Thunder will be down one of their top players for the foreseeable future.
Thunder head coach Mar Daigneault told reporters on Wednesday that Jalen Williams, who suffered a right hip strain on Monday, will not be travelling with the team.
He added that although Williams is working out in Oklahoma City, there is no timetable on his return.
A first-time All-Star in 2025, Williams is averaging 21.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.7 steals this season.
The 23-year old is second on the Western Conference-leading Thunder in scoring, assists, and steals.
The Thunder are on a three-game road trip and return home on March 19.
