“The Bookwanderers” by Anna James

I just finished this last night and I have to say that I enjoyed this introduction to the Bookwanderer series. Matilda Pages, who goes by Tilly throughout the book, can usually be found at the bookshop ran by her grandparents. Tilly longs to know more about her mother that disappeared and she sets out on a course to find out what happened to her mother, with the help of some interesting characters.

This is a good middle grade book to read for children or you can read this with your kiddos if interested.

Synopsis: Since her mother’s disappearance, eleven-year-old Tilly Pages has found comfort in the stories at Pages & Co., her grandparents’ bookshop. But when her favorite characters, Anne of Green Gables and Alice from Wonderland, start showing up at the shop,Tilly’s adventures become very real.
