‘Sinners’ Leaves ‘The Accountant 2’ in a Bloody Mess After Third Consecutive Monday Box Office Hit

Sinners has now completed its third full weekend in theaters, but the vampire horror film from writer/director Ryan Coogler is still showing no signs of slowing down at the box office. After grossing over $3 million on its third Monday, Sinners now sits at a domestic total of $182 million and an international total of $57 million, giving it a worldwide haul of $240 million. Sinners premiered one week earlier than The Accountant 2, but that didn’t stop Michael B. Jordan’s thriller from leaving Ben Affleck’s action flick in the dust on Monday, with $2.4 million more coming from even fewer theaters. Sinners did fall short of Thunderbolts* on Monday, which earned $5 million after changing its title to The New Avengers.
