If all the recent rumors and leaks are true, Xbox is going to have a pretty big year on PS5. The latest leak comes from Bethesda as the PlayStation logo appears on the mod page for its space RPG Starfield.

Thanks to YouTuber 510deshawn (shared on the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit), a Starfield mod creation from user ValleysEdge appeared to have the PlayStation logo as one of the platforms for their mod. According to the thread, the logo was first removed, and then the mod itself was taken off the site. However, the thread has pictures for those interested.
Rumors about a PS5 port for Starfield have been circulating for at least a year now. Considering the games currently slated to come to Sony’s gaming platform, as well as the ones rumored, it would not be surprising to see Bethesda’s latest release come to the console. However, one of the more recent reports from March last year suggested a Starfield PS5 port was not in the works. Of course, that could have changed within 12 months, but we will not truly know until it officially gets announced.
When Starfield launched for Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2023, it was well received critically, but maybe not as well as some would have hoped. According to the review aggregate site Metacritic, it garnered an average score of 83 across 81 reviews.
In terms of what Xbox has coming down the pipeline for PS5, Forza Horizon 5 arrives on the console next month. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is slated for a spring 2025 release with rumors suggesting it will also launch next month. Lastly, World’s Edge announced Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition will also launch on PS5 at some point. A specific date has not yet been revealed, but a recent update possibly hints the RTS will also launch on PS5 in April.
