Announced last October, PlayStation: The Concert was described as a groundbreaking live music event that is set to “bring the most iconic gaming soundtracks to life,” with music from The Last Of Us, God Of War, Ghost Of Tsushima and the Horizon series all confirmed to be part of the show.

The tour is set to kick off in Dublin later this month before heading to a number of UK arenas. From there, it will head to Europe with dates also planned for “the United States and beyond.”

However a number of European fans have been told their gigs have either been delayed or cancelled. Taking to Reddit, one fan said that they’d been told the concert at Poland’s Atlas Arena for May 21 had been cancelled. “No reason was given. The official website is still completely silent—there’s even still a ‘buy ticket’ link, which now redirects to the homepage of the ticketing service. There’s no trace of the concert anymore, no mention of it at all,” they added.

A number of shows on the official PlayStation: The Concert website are currently listed as “tickets unavailable”, including Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Bulgaria, Vienna, Oslo and Gothenburg. The Uber Arena in Berlin has announced the show set to take place May 6 has been pushed back to March 12, 2026.

PlayStation has yet to release an official statement about the cancelled and delayed concerts but some venues have blamed “unforeseen circumstances”. NME has reached out for comment.

“This sucks man… In typical PlayStation fashion the communication is the worst part of it. Just tell us what’s happening,” wrote another fan.

The UK leg of the PlayStation: The Concert tour is “absolutely” still going ahead, confirmed a representative. It also seems that shows in Paris and Amsterdam will happen, with fans still able to buy tickets.

“The games featured in this tour aren’t just titles; they’re cultural touchstones that have reshaped the entertainment landscape,” reads a press release that was shared when the tour was first announced.

“An innovative multi-screen design, combining advanced LED and projection technologies, will enhance the event and deliver the most iconic moments and imagery from these games. Coupled with surround sound, the show delivers breathtaking visual and audio depth, creating an immersive experience that will allow the audience to relive their gaming adventures like never before.”

PlayStation had planned to bring the tour to over 200 cities by the end of 2026.

In other news, the BAFTA Games Awards took place last night with Astro Bot the big winner.
