This magical tool now helps her navigate the ocean and bend it to her will, making sea manipulation her primary ability as a demigod. The oar allows her to create golden navigational lines along the ocean’s surface, demonstrating how effortlessly she can now chart the waters. Additionally, she gains tattoos similar to Maui’s, visually representing her status as a demigod. While the full extent of her powers remains unknown, she may possess immortality as well. Like Maui, who does not age and is largely immune to earthly injuries, Moana may have similar abilities.
