Mission: Impossible 8 Box Office Passes Major Domestic Milestone & Climbs Tom Cruise's Highest-Grossing Charts

Just two weeks into its run, Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning is already crossing major milestones. A sequel to Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One (2023), the movie sees Tom Cruise return as Ethan Hunt, as he attempts to save the world from a rogue AI, the Entity. The movie was directed and co-written by Christopher McQuarrie, who also led Dead Reckoning Part One. It reportedly had a massive $400 million budget, meaning that it will need approximately $1 billion just to break even, after theaters take their cuts.
