Few relationships in Marvel history have been as complicated or as enduring as Rogue and Gambit's. Their romance has survived impossible odds, largely because of the cruel irony at its center: Rogue can't safely touch the man she loves. That emotional push and pull has helped make them one of the X-Men's defining couples, and it's also what makes them such a natural fit for a romance novel.
