Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell’s big-screen dad duel is back for another round of streaming life. Nearly a decade after Daddy’s Home first hit theaters — and critics immediately begged for custody arrangements to keep it away — both it and its holiday sequel Daddy’s Home 2are finding a new home on Netflix this September. The first film paired Ferrell’s eager-to-please stepdad with Wahlberg’s alpha ex, while the sequel upped the ante by tossing Mel Gibson and John Lithgow into the family feud. Love them or loathe them, the “Dad vs. Dad” comedies are once again impossible to avoid.
