Less than a week after it was announced that Emily in Paris star Camille Razat would not reprise her role as Camille in Season 5 of the Netflix series, she’s already addressed her departure. Razat has appeared in 33 of 42 episodes of Emily in Paris, which is led by Lily Collins as the titular character, Emily Cooper, and Ashley Park as Mindy Chen. Emily in Paris was renewed for Season 5 last year, and Netflix confirmed just a few days ago plans to begin filming this summer in Rome and Paris. During a recent interview with TV Line, Emily in Paris star Camille Razat spoke about her exit from the series, citing the end of her character’s story but also the opportunity to explore new horizons:
