Is Alex Pereira Leaving the UFC? What Happened Between Him and Management in Talks for Ankalaev Rematch

Amid the chaos of last-minute fights in UFC 315, Dana White and Co. have another shocker to handle. Alex Pereira just said something that has left us stunned. The former dual weight champ and Glory Kickboxing champ, unfortunately, lost his heavyweight title to Magomed Ankalaev, but he seemed to be pumped to come back as soon as possible.

In fact, he has saved UFC many times by taking short-notice fights like he did for UFC 303  but now things seem strained between him and UFC. Pereira just sent chills through the MMA world with a cryptic message, he posted on X, “I always answered the UFC’s calls, but if they want to play with me, we can do that. I’ve never spoken poorly of the UFC but with what I’ve just heard I’m disheartened. I’ve already had thoughts of not fighting anymore, and after what was just relayed to me this may be the start.”
