If you’ve read the Harry Potter series and/or the Twilight series then you should try…….
The “Crave” series by Tracy Wolff = If the Harry Potter series and the Twilight series got together and had a baby, it would be this series. I’ve heard this series has been picked up by Universal Studios who now owns the movies rights for this series. I haven’t heard anything else about the movies and how far along they are when it comes to making them and when they’re suppose to come out but I do plan on watching the movies.
If you’ve read the Harry Potter series then you should try……
The Charmed Children of Rookskill Castle by Janet Fox = I read this book a couple of years ago and it did remind me of the Harry Potter series. A group of kids are living in a castle that is turned into a boarding school during WWII but the lady that owns the school isn’t who she seems.
If you’ve read the Harry Potter series then you should try…….
The Mystery of Black Hollow Lane by Julia Nobel (& The Secret of White Stone Gate) = This series will remind you of the trio from the Harry Potter series when they were younger.
If you’ve read anything from Agatha Christie then you should try…….
The Mordecai Tremaine series by Francis Duncan = The series follows Mordecai Tremaine who is a retired tobacco shop owner and an amateur sleuth as he helps police figure out a crime in each novel.
If you’ve read the Indian in the Cupboard series by Lynne Reid Banks then you should try……..
You should try “The Castle in the Attic” by Elizabeth Winthrop (& The Battle for the Castle) = A boy received a castle and a toy knight for his birthday one year. Not everything is as it seems with the castle and knight…….
If you’ve read IT by Stephen King then you should try…….
NOS4A2 by Joe Hill (& Wraith: Welcome to Christmasland) = Instead of following a group of friends, you’re following one single girl in her fight against an evil entity. They eventually made a tv show based on this book.
