Some people will say “yes” to this question because more and more are being taken over by technology. They say you can’t stop the advancement of technology. But there are some people who don’t prefer technology for whatever reason.
There are some people that still prefer reading the actual book as opposed to using technology. I have a Kindle Fire and I have some e-books on it. However, I only got it so that I could take some books with me when I travel and the Kindle Fire doesn’t take up a lot of room in my carry on bag. I don’t read on my Kindle all that often……like I said, I normally just use it for when I’m traveling and going out of town. I’m one of those people that prefers the smell of an actual book, especially when they are new.
So, should physical libraries be digitized? I’m going to say “no”. I think it’s okay to digitize some things in the library but I would be against going completely digital.
