The long-awaited integration of the X-Menfranchise into the Marvel Cinematic Universe hinges, in large part, on which villain takes center stage in the next X-film; according to the latest rumors, that is going to be Mr. Sinister, and while this is almost certainly the right choice, Marvel also absolutely needs to nail the character in live-action to set a high bar for future cinematic X-Men adventures.
