After being accompanied to her baby scan with Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott), Bethany is spotted by her mum, Sarah (Tina O’Brien), but how will Kit handle the bombshell that she drops?

Tuesday, November 10

Brody is sickened after overhearing Carla Connor-Swain’s (Alison King) agony at having to sell the factory due to the insurance being unwilling to pay out for the damage, and heads for Idris.

With his foster carer, Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor), now out of a job, he’s wracked with guilt and demands Idris put things right, or he’ll confess to everything.

Idris suggests that such action will land Brody in the clink, but he’s willing to take that chance and bring Idris down with him.

Wednesday, November 11

Kit chastises Sarah for forcing him to get a check up after his collapse, as he suspected, it’s nothing serious.

As they head away, armed with anti-nausea medication, they cross paths with Bethany, who’s face drains of all colour when she realises she’s been spotted, and as Sarah apologises for forgetting about the scan, Kit and Bethany eye each other awkwardly, before she tries to bolt.

No such luck, though, as Sarah asks about the scan, and soon reveals that Kit will be dating a grandma, throwing her arms around her daughter, as the magnitude of what’s happening dawns on Kit.
