Housefull 5 day 1 box office advance booking: Akshay Kumar's multi-starrer takes a decent start; to BEAT Raid 2 with pre-sales numbers?

The next big release in theatres is Housefull 5. Starring Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, Fardeen Khan, Dino Morea, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt and others, the fifth instalment of the hit franchise is going to release on June 6. The movie is produced under Sajid Nadiadwala's production banner. The trailer has already created buzz and now the advance ticket sales began on June 1. Here's its box office prediction.

As reported by Sacnilk.com, so far, 24227 tickets have been sold all over India for Akshay Kumar's Housefull 5. The movie has made around Rs 87.77 lakhs advance gross collection as we write this story. It is within few hours of the opening of advance booking that the film has managed to mint these numbers. And it is expected that the Housefull 5 ticket sales will gain momentum as the release nears. With blocked seats, the movie has already made around Rs 3.84 crore with its pre-sales. It looks like Housefull 5 will take a good day at the box office on its day 1.

There are chances that it may beat Ajay Devgn's recently released hit film Raid 2 in terms of advance ticket sales. As per a report in entertainment news portal Koimoi, Raid 2 made around Rs 6.52 crore in advance bookings for the opening day. If the buzz around Housefull 5 increases, there are chances that it may cross the mark set by Raid 2. The highest advance bookings for day 1 was recorded by Vicky Kaushal's movie Chaava. The film reportedly made Rs 13.85 crore in advance bookings for opening day.

There is quite a buzz around Housefull 5. Plus, the makers have come up with a unique strategy to pique the interest of the audience. The movie is going to have two climaxes. It is a murder mystery and fans will get to see two different endings in different theatres.
