General Hospital viewers have been missing Kelly Monaco as Sam McCall since the show killed off the beloved character in October 2024. She had joined the show back in 2004 and celebrated 20 years in the role. The actress has been rather quiet for the last several months on social media since she parted ways with the soap. Now comes word of an exciting new project that the actress is taking on and she’s telling everyone about it.
Moving Forward
Monaco took to her official Instagram account to share the news. She posted a short video with the caption that said, “

For those who aren’t familiar with Shanna Moakler, Monaco’s partner in this project, she is an actress known for appearing in the film The Wedding Singer, guest spots on prime-time shows like The Goldbergs, NCIS, Entourage and she is also a former Miss USA (1995). In addition, she did shows like Celebrity Big Brother, had high-profile relationships with Travis Barker (they had a show on MTV in 2005 called Meet The Barkers) and Oscar de la Hoya and was also a Playboy playmate in December 2001. Monaco was as well in April of 1997, and the two have been close friends for a while.
This new project will give Monaco a platform to reach her very faithful fanbase in an exciting new way. What stories will these two ladies share? You’ll have to stay tuned to find out.
