Anthony Mantha‘s season has come to an abrupt end.

The Calgary Flames announced Monday that the forward will undergo surgery this week to repair an ACL injury and will miss the remainder of the season.

The 30-year-old suffered the injury on Nov. 5 in a game against the Montreal Canadiens.

Mantha was ruled out against the Canadiens with a lower-body injury after taking a hit behind the Montreal net in the first period. He stayed down shortly after the hit and was slow to skate to the bench right before the first intermission.
