In a recent discussion, Linsey Godfrey touched down upon the possibilities of Sarah and Xander going their separate ways due to the ongoing dynamics in Days of Our Lives. While speaking with Soap Opera Digest, the veteran actress said, “Paul [Telfer] and I would like to be like Johnny and Chanel for a little bit and be happy for a while, although I know that they’re going through some stuff. Paul and I both would love for them to just stay together and be happy. So there’s what we want and what the soap gods want for us. We’ll have to wait and see what happens, but there’s definitely some really great scenes coming up between the two of them.”

She also explained Sarah’s ideology behind keeping such a massive secret from her husband, stating, “I don’t think Sarah ever feels like the reason behind it was wrong. She knows that lying is not great, and she’s aware of the fact that lying is wrong. But this is one of those ‘you do something wrong for the right reasons’ things.”

Noting that fans can expect some “highly emotional scenes” in the next few Days of Our Lives episodes, Linsey Godfrey highlighted the intensity of the upcoming confrontation between Sarah and Xander, which could potentially lead to their breakup. The actress remarked, “[Sarah] will not be taking any of Xander’s s–t, essentially. She’ll not be taking any of it. You will see her not back down.”

Linsey Godfrey’s statements suggest that Sarah will continue to take a stand for herself, irrespective of how fierce the scuffle between her character and Xander gets in Days of Our Lives. As such, viewers can expect much drama in the coming episodes of DoOL.
