Fans have about four days to go before The Librarians make their grand return in the direct spin-off series The Next Chapter. On Sunday, May 25, a bunch of new characters will appear on small screens, as part of the ancient organization tasked with keeping dangerous supernatural artifacts from falling into the wrong hands. Dean Devlin, who has been a part of the beloved fantasy franchise since its creation, returns as showrunner of the upcoming spin-off, which he recently compared to the original TNT series in anticipation of its premiere.
