There’s a clash of titans next week upon the return of Albert Square’s grande dame Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) when she catches sight of Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan), who made her return during Sharon’s absence.
Sharon has been absent from the Square recently to accommodate a short break for veteran actress Letitia Dean, with her alter-ego departing Walford visit her Jada Lennox (Kelsey Calladine-Smith), the mother of her granddaughter following the tragic death of Martin Fowler (James Bye).
Though, after five long months, Sharon is heading home and about to face a reunion with former nemesis.
Long time ‘Enders fans will remember their fractious history with Zoe having had an affair with Sharon’s adoptive father, Den Watts (Nigel Harman), while also dating her adoptive brother (Nigel Harman), with whom Sharon was deeply in love.

Zoe later played a role in Den’s grisly demise, when his spurned wife Chrissie Watts (Tracy-Ann Oberman) delivered a deadly-doggy-doorstep blow to his head, while allowing Zoe to believe it was her who’d offed her former paramour.
Sharon is shocked to the core to see Zoe stood outside of No.31 and, despite her siblings, Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) and Zack Hudson (James Farrar), throwing her a welcome home celebration, she remains focussed on Zoe.
Approaching her in the Vic, shockingly, Sharon calls a truce with Zoe, though peace tends not to survive very long in Walford…

…and this case is absolutely no different, as an almighty catfight between Vicki and Zoe breaks out. Although Anthony Trueman (Nicholas Bailey) and Zack split the warring ladies up, Zack suffers an injury in the fracas.
A furious Sharon heads straight for the Vic to have it out with Zoe, who counters with a massive bombshell of her own.
As Sharon reels in disbelief, temper rising, Zoe’s mum Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) throws her out of the pub.
The question is, just what has Zoe revealed that’s upset Sharon so deeply? It couldn’t have anything to do with those fan theories floating around, could it?
