Zenless Zone Zero Gets Honkai: Star Rail Crossover in 3.4, Severian in 3.3

HoYoVerse shared the 3.3 Zenless Zone Zero Special Program that highlighted new story updates and characters like Severian Lowell, then confirmed the Honkai: Star Rail crossover with Kafka and Robin will take place in 3.4. The 3.3 update will kick off with new character Phoenix right away when that launches on October 21, 2026, with Severian Lowell in Phase II. As such, we should expect 3.4 to appear at the very end of November 2026 or beginning of December 2026.

While the recent 3.0 updates brought the Zenless Zone Zero story to Roscaelifer and the new storyline in the next patch will do so, both Phoenix and Severian are from existing factions. She is an S-Rank Krampus Compliance Authority character who is an Anomaly unit that deals fire-based damage with her attacks. She’ll appear alongside a rerun of Roscaelifer External Strategy Department member Velina Airgrid. During the second half of the update, we will see the New Eridu Public Security S-rank Agent. (His brother Seth Lowell is a Criminal Investigation Special Response Team A-rank Agent.) Severian is an S-Rank Attack Agent. He’s tied to the more recent Wind element. A Solemnly Impeccable suit outfit will be sold after his debut. The rerun banner for that second part is Velina’s fellow External Strategy Department member Norma Hollowell. To tie in with Halloween, the 3.3 events will be Night of Supernatural Tricks and Spooky Funhouse Tales.

Here’s the official teaser trailer for Zenless Zone Zero 3.3.

As for the Honkai: Star Rail crossover event and characters coming to Zenless Zone Zero, the news about Kafka and Robin appearing in 3.4 came up at about the 33 minute mark of the 3.3 Special Program. That showed official art of both characters in the Zenless Zone Zero style. However, we only have that teaser for now, and we don’t know what role or element the possible Agents will play and use.

Here’s the full Special Program for 3.3.
