-Zaslav has announced that he is breaking up the band and splitting WB into two separate entities. “WBD Streaming & Studios,” encompassing Warner Bros. Pictures, HBO, Max/HBO Max and more. The other will be “WBD Global Networks,” home to CNN, TNT, TBS and more, largely comprising linear TV businesses that have suffered declines in revenue and profitability.

-In a step that surprises nobody....Zassy is doing his best to try to make WBD S&S look good by putting majority of their $34 billion of net debt will be assigned to the WBGN, their TV networks spin-off, execs said.

-Comes off the heels of Warner Bros Discovery shareholders have symbolically voted against CEO David Zaslav’s $52M pay package where Nearly 60% think he’s overpaid.

-NBCU recently did a similar thing where they split up NBC/BRAVO from the rest of their channels.
