Yukon Premier Ranj Pillai to step down ahead of territorial election

Having led the Yukon since 2023, Pillai becomes the latest premier to step down after former Newfoundland and Labrador premier Andrew Furey and former P.E.I. premier Dennis King also resigned earlier this year.
