Young & Restless’ Tamara Braun on When She’ll Debut as Sienna

Last month, it was reported that Tamara Braun had been tapped to play Sienna Bacall in The Young and the Restless. At the time, her character was described as someone with “personal connections to several characters.” She was announced to make her on-screen debut this fall. Now, Braun has shared new details about her character’s role in the ongoing storyline. Moreover, details on Sienna’s confirmed airdate have been revealed as well.

In an interview with TV Guide, Braun revealed brief details on Sienna’s backstory on The Young and the Restless. She said, “She runs a club in Hollywood. There’s mystery there, which I think is a really cool way to introduce a character — and very fitting for a soap.” Braun’s character, Sienna, will debut on the show on October 14, 2025. In a previous interview with TV Insider, Josh Griffith, head writer and executive producer of DOOL, shared details about which storyline Sienna will be part of. He elaborated that Nick and Sharon will be embroiled in a major mystery, which will lead them to Los Angeles. There, they will rescue Noah from a “dangerous situation” that also involves Roger Howarth’s character and Tamara Braun’s Sienna Bacall.

Braun is no stranger to daytime soap operas, having previously appeared on two major ones, General Hospital and Days of Our Lives. She portrayed two different characters on General Hospital, Carly Corinthos and Dr. Kim Nero. She debuted Carly in 2001 and concluded her run in 2005. But she returned to play a new role on GH in 2017. In 2008, she became involved with DOOL, playing Ava Vitali. Introduced as a mystery woman from Steve’s past, it was later revealed that she’s a mafia princess.
