Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is set to take a leap of six years. The latest promo revealed that the story of Rohit Purohit and Samridhii Shukla's show will moved ahead six years bringing in new twists. In the recent episodes, we see Armaan and Abhira are unable to solve their differences. Armaan is an over protective father and is hurting Abhira with his actions. In the upcoming episodes, we shall see him separating Abhira from daughter Pookie.

He is separated from Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) and is leading a content life along with his daughter. The promo also give a glimpse of a new woman who has entered Armaan's life. While the character details have not be revealed as yet, a report in entertainment news and TV news portal Telly Express states that she is Armaan's former school crush. A newcomer named Ruheen is playing this role. However, there is no confirmation on this as yet. The pictures of the actress from the promo have gone viral on social media and fans are in awe of her beauty.
