Workplace Comedy Goes Old Testament in Trailer for New Biblical Sitcom From ‘The Chosen’ Director [Exclusive]

A few weeks ago, Collider was lucky enough to help spark a conversation with the debut trailer for the new satirical comedy series, The Promised Land. And today, we’re thrilled to exclusively share the final trailer for the upcoming Biblical project that is set to make its YouTube debut on October 1. Over the course of six episodes, series creator, Mitch Hudson, hopes to inject some laughter into an otherwise incredibly serious story from the Bible as a documentary crew follows Moses (Wasim No’mani) on a quest to lead his people out of Egypt towards the promise of a new life. But, this isn’t the same story you learned in Sunday School. While it will still focus on many major players from the tale of Exodus, The Promised Land will bring some levity to the situation as Moses finds himself thrown into a position of leadership for a group of travelers who — understandably so — aren’t having the best time as they trek through the desert.
