The Nintendo Switch 2 has been out for just over three months, and there's a noticeable lack of variety in its hardware options. Following a summer of Nintendo Directs focused on specific games, it seems the one scheduled for September 12 is set to be a major showcase. It will last roughly an hour, and while I'm eager to finally get a Metroid Prime 4 release date (hopefully), I'm anticipating a hardware announcement that should have already happened: new Joy-Con 2 colors.
