In the modern era of college football, with NIL contracts disrupting the sport, not many have accomplished the combination of on-field performance and off-field commerce like LSU’s dominant left tackle, Will Campbell. At a hulking 6’6″ and 323 pounds, this Monroe, Louisiana native has been a force the Tigers’ offense cannot move. But whereas his role is protecting quarterbacks, his NIL reputation shows he’s also protecting his bank account, landing big brand deals that make him one of college football’s highest-paid players.

But come on, offensive linemen are not typically the players cashing in big on NIL deals. The cash tends to go to the high-flying skill players—the quarterbacks, receivers, and running backs. But Campbell is turning that around. He’s demonstrating that high-end linemen, the men who make those highlight-reel plays possible, get a slice, too. And brands are listening.

Will Campbell’s career highlights and stats

Will Campbell has been a force up front on the offensive line ever since his days at Neville High School in Monroe, Louisiana. The five-star prospect became LSU‘s anchor at left tackle right away, playing every one of 38 games as a starter for three seasons. His pass protection and run-blocking prowess made him a Freshman All-SEC selection in 2022. Just not this, a First-Team All-SEC selection in 2023, and the coveted Jacobs Blocking Trophy in 2024. By his junior season, he was a consensus All-American, becoming one of the greatest linemen in college football.

Even playing a position that doesn’t accumulate traditional statistics, Campbell’s presence on LSU’s offense was felt. He shielded quarterbacks, created holes for the run game, and was a big part of the Tigers’ offensive production. His technique, size (6’6″, 323 lbs), and football smarts have NFL scouts pegging him as a first-round pick in the 2025 Draft. Some experts indicate a potential move to guard because of issues with his arm length. But his ability as a lineman?  Well, it is totally not in question.

Outside of his play on the field, Campbell was a leader, having the privilege of wearing LSU’s highly prized No. 7 jersey—the first and only offensive lineman in school history to don the jersey. His work ethic and leadership skills earned him a captainship and the respect of his teammates in the locker room. Campbell’s college days are now behind him, he is getting ready to take his abilities to the professional ranks. By this, we mean he is ready to contribute right away in the NFL.

How much is Will Campbell’s NIL deal worth?

Quarterbacks and wide receivers get the headlines when it comes to NIL earnings. But Campbell? He is showing that top-of-the-line offensive linemen can get paid as well. Campbell’s market value is set at the high six-figure estimate of $700,000 as per On3’s NIL Valuation, making him one of the highest-paid linemen in the nation.

His NIL earnings are derived from a combination of sponsorships, endorsements, and brand affiliations, all of which acknowledge his on-field performance and off-field popularity. Currently, he stands at #46 in college football NIL rank. Additionally, he also stands at #66 in the NIL 100 according to on3.com as of 2024.

In addition, Campbell has used his increasing social media popularity, with a following of around 55,000 on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter, to increase his marketability and bring more NIL opportunities his way.

Who are Will Campbell’s top NIL sponsors?

Campbell’s largest NIL contract to this point has been with Bose. A deal that created a buzz when he gave $10,000 in Bose products to his LSU offensive line teammates. “Y’all know I love y’all and appreciate y’all,” he said in the video. “I was lucky enough to partner up with Bose and get everybody a pair of headphones.”

He also partnered with Sunshine Quality Solutions, a John Deere equipment dealer, in July 2023. Outside of Bose, Campbell has been tied to First Round Mock, a new NIL brand that specializes in aligning with high-draft potential college athletes. He is also likely to have local Louisiana-based sponsorships, as he’s a hometown hero in Monroe. The deals reiterate the trend of leading corporations acknowledging linemen’s marketing potential, an area traditionally discounted in NIL.

With only one season remaining before he makes the jump to the NFL, Campbell’s priority is to cement his first-round draft status while continuing to build his NIL portfolio. His combination of ability, leadership, and marketability has put him in a unique position, and he is one of the most compelling NIL success stories among offensive linemen. As his draft profile grows, so will his earning potential, with additional brands likely to get on board.
