The first trailer for Peacemaker season 2 is now out, and I believe that it shows the perfect way for how the DC Universe could explain John Cena's TV show moving from the DCEU to James Gunn's DCU. As Gunn previously said, Peacemaker season 1 was the biggest release ever for Max, which is why I always expected the show to survive the end of the old DCEU. Aside from the Justice League's finale cameo, Peacemaker season 1 largely stands on its own.
