CBS won’t air any new episodes for FBI, FBI: International, and FBI: Most Wanted on May 27 as the new seasons have come to an end.

FBI Season 7, FBI: International Season 4, and FBI: Most Wanted Season 6 dropped their final episodes on May 20, 2025. As a result, fans grew anxious about the shows’ futures. While FBI, International, and Most Wanted did go on mid-season breaks, no extra episodes are lined up.

However, the good news is FBI will be back with its eighth season. The series was officially renewed for Seasons 8 and 9 in April 2024, much ahead of the release of the seventh chapter. Season 8 will premiere during CBS’s 2026-2027 schedule. While FBI will be rolling out two more chapters, its spin-off series, International and Most Wanted, have been canceled for more seasons.

CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach opened up on the cancellation of shows with Deadline. She shared, “It is not easy to end shows, and they had a lot of options this year.” She added, “The schedule is really full, and so we always have to look at all of our shows, look at the aggregate information, the creative of where they are in their life cycle, what the finances look like, what the ratings are, and then we make those tough decisions.”

Reisenbach concluded, “We love working with Dick Wolf and we’re so excited to bring CIA onto the schedule. We have to be fiscally responsible, and ultimately, those deals and the shows just weren’t penciling out for us from an economic perspective. But we want to be in the business with Dick. We’re excited to launch a new two-hour block next season.”
