Moana Hope confirmed her split from her wife of four years Isabelle Carlstrom two years ago, but fans are still curious about what caused the marriage breakdown.
It's something the former AFLW star says she will "never" talk about publicly.
In a new video posted to her Instagram, Hope shut down questions about her past relationship and explained why she won't address it.

The video came in response to a question box she received which asked, "What happened with your marriage, how did you know it was time to part ways?"
"OK so this one, I've made this very clear from day one. I will never talk about what broke my marriage," she said.
"It wasn't that we decided to go separate ways. What happened that resulted in a divorce is something I will keep to myself until my kids are old enough and they ask me questions."

She added that she wants "to be the one to tell them" rather than have them find out from an old video on social media.
"I will never tell, ever, until they're ready to ask me questions and then I'll tell them. It's not for gossip or social media" she continued.
"I've made peace with it and it's more about protecting my kids and making sure that they are given that right, so never telling."
Hope then punctuated her point in her caption, writing: "What broke my marriage. Leaving this here, no need to ask me anymore."
Hope shares two children, Svea, four and Ahi, three, with Carlstrom.

After a month of split speculation, the pair confirmed their split in separate social media posts.
A day after Carlstrom shared the news on her Instagram, Hope told her own followers the couple decided to call it quits on their marriage.
In a message shared to Instagram, Hope asked for privacy after announcing the news.
"Bella and I have separated," Hope began her message, posted on her Instagram Story.
"I understand that I live a public life and people may have questions, and whilst I live my life candidly, our main priority at this time is our beautiful children and I ask that your respect our privacy."
She added: "We will continue to co-parent as we transition into this new phase of our lives. I appreciate all the love and support I have received."
The pair tied the knot in 2019 after Hope proposed the year earlier. Their split came after four years of marriage.
