Fans raise concern as FBI, International and Most Wanted hit a weekly break yet again. The three shows of the popular franchise will not be coming out with new episodes next week. Viewers are now eager to know the reason behind the hiatus in the schedule.
Here’s why there won’t be new episodes of FBI, FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted in the upcoming week.
Why a new episode of FBI, International and Most Wanted won’t release next week
As per the official schedule of CBS, all three series of the FBI franchise will not be releasing any new episodes on Tuesday, April 29, next week. Instead, each show will air reruns of previous episodes. FBI Season 7, FBI: International Season 4 and FBI: Most Wanted Season 6 will re-air the episodes “Perfect”, “Nothing Sudden About It” and “White Buffalo,” respectively.
This is not the first time that the series has taken a week-long hiatus. Oftentimes, a series may put off a new episode for the following week in order to get more ratings. There have also been cases where a particular episode is taking longer to produce.
Another reason might be that network TV shows typically end their seasons in mid May. So, they want to stretch the schedule to fit that time slot. Viewers must note that these are all speculations, and CBS has not given any official reason for the hiatus.
Fans can rest assured that this break is very brief, lasting only a week. FBI, International and Most Wanted will return on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, and will air the new episodes of their current ongoing seasons, “Startup”, “We’re Out of Here” and “Trash Day,” respectively. Fans can stream all the previous and upcoming episodes of the shows exclusively on Paramount Plus.
