In a recent Soap Opera Digest, Brandon Beemer, who plays Shawn, hinted that his character is slowly coming to terms with their separation. “At the end of the day, they’ll always love each other. But as things go on, it’s becoming more apparent that Shawn and Belle are moving on,” Beemer explained.

Shawn’s frustration isn’t just about losing Belle; it’s her choice of partner that stings the most. Beemer elaborated, “Anything bad that happens in Salem, EJ is tied to in some way or another.” Despite Shawn’s warnings, Belle remains oblivious to EJ’s true nature, making reconciliation seem less likely than ever.

While Shawn grapples with Belle’s new relationship, he’s finding unexpected solace in Jada. Both are nursing fresh heartbreaks — Jada after her split from Rafe and Shawn from Belle. “Once Shawn finds out that Jada and Rafe are done, it’s kind of like they’re both in familiar territory,” Beemer shared. “They find comfort in spending time together and being able to talk about things. Still, Beemer hasn’t ruled out a future reunion. “I don’t know if it’s really run its course,” he admitted. So, now Days of Our Lives fans have to wait and see how it runs its course.
