Although the Warriors missed several of their key players, the Dubs nation wanted to know why forward Andrew Wiggins wasn’t available on the night.

Well, just before the game Wiggins was ruled out, leaving fans scratching their heads, wondering why the 29-year-old couldn’t take part in the matchup. While most would guess that it’s due to some injury sustained, Wiggins is unavailable owing to personal reasons. It was later revealed that the Warriors star and his girlfriend, Mychal Johnson, are expecting a child.

Wiggins is amid a stellar season for the Warriors, averaging 16.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.3 assists. It will be interesting to see how the Golden State navigates without arguably their second-best player this season. The Dubs faithful are sending their wishes for the forward showing support to the couple. In the picture, Wiggins’ girlfriend was seen wearing a white top with blue jeans and carrying a purse to accessorize her stylish outfit.

Sydel Curry commented “Hot mom era ” hyping up the soon-to-be mom. Clearly, the connection between these NBA-affiliated mothers is pretty deep. They share a mutual bond despite having different journeys.

Additionally, Wiggins also did not miss the chance to share his appreciation for Mychal as he commented with a bunch of emojis, showing his love for his girlfriend. The couple are enjoying their journey as parents and seem to be doing a great job of raising their two daughters, leaving no doubt they’ll be great parents to the newest member of the family as well.
