The move continues Beyond the Gates’ pattern of pausing for holidays, following its July 4 break when CBS aired reruns of Bill and Hayley’s wedding drama. The soap also went into reruns between June 30 and July 4, 2025.

In the episodes returning to air, Leslie revealed herself as Barbara’s daughter and inherited Dupree wealth. She used the money to buy a house across from the Dupree mansion and secured membership in an exclusive club. At the same time, Allison held Chelsea hostage and forced her into a mock wedding ceremony. Unable to escape, Chelsea pretended to comply, while Kat uncovered a clue and informed the family about Chelsea’s kidnapping.
