Disney Night on American Idol Season 23 delivered all the magic fans expected and a few heartbreaks as some of the contestants got eliminated. The Top 5 contestants, aka Breanna Nix, Thunderstorm Artis, Slater Nalley, John Foster, and Jamal Roberts, delivered enchanting performances, but only three advanced to the finale. So, who went home on American Idol’s Disney Night?

Who got eliminated and went home on American Idol on Disney Night?

American Idol lit up the stage with Disney magic on Monday night, but for two hopefuls, the fairy tale came to an end. Slater Nalley and Thunderstorm Artis were the two contestants who got eliminated and went home just before the American Idol Season 23 finale.

Nalley impressed with his rendition of Toy Story’s “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” and a fiery performance of “Born to Be Wild” from The Mighty Ducks. Despite earning high praise from the judges, America’s votes weren’t enough to keep him in the competition.

Whereas Artis delivered a magical performance of Cinderella’s “A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes” and later showed off his guitar skills with “Find Yourself” from Cars 3. Though his vocals were stunning, he fell short of the votes needed to continue.

With two talented performers who got eliminated and went home, three contestants now head into the finale. Here is a list of the top 3 contestants left on American Idol: 

John Foster Jamal Roberts Breanna Nix

Foster remains in the running after impressing with his country-twisted takes on Disney classics, including “The Bare Necessities” from The Jungle Book and “Rainbow Connection” from The Muppet Movie. Roberts secured his spot with smooth performances of “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” from Remember the Titans, as well as a heartfelt version of “Beauty and the Beast.” Rounding out the Top 3 is Nix, who overcame a shaky start with “This Will Be” from The Parent Trap to deliver a stunning performance of “You’ll Be in My Heart” from Tarzan.
