Now that we are in October, it is time to start thinking about getting cosy with your favourite autumnal shows again.

Strictly, Bake Off and the Celebrity Traitors are already back up and running, but hot on their heels will be the new series of Celebrity Race Across The World.

The 2025 series saw the likes of Tyler West and Roman Kemp among the racers as they took a route from Mexico to Colombia, covering a distance of 5900km.

The BBC show will be welcoming a new set of famous contestants as they set off on an epic journey, with the new route also being revealed alongside the cast.

So, let’s meet the new famous racers…

Princess and Junior Andre

Princess Andre, 19, will be teaming up with her older brother Junior, 21, to embark on the challenge.

The son and daughter of Peter Andre and Katie Price have featured in a number of TV appearances and reality shows alongside their famous parents, while Princess is the star of her own series titled The Princess Diaries on ITV2.

Junior, meanwhile, has followed in his dad’s footsteps and is an aspiring recording artist and actor.

Reacting to the announcement on Instagram, Junior teased fans by saying, ‘you guys just wait’.

Ella Eyre and friend Nana

Ella Eyre, 32, is the Brit Award-winning singer-songwriter behind such hits as IF I Go and Come Back.

She rose to fame after collaborating with Rudimental on their number one single Waiting All Night, which won the Brit Award for Best British Single of the year at the 2014 Brit Awards.

Ella posted to her stories on Instagram to say, ‘Remember when I disappeared offline for a bit earlier this year… it’s about to become clear.’

Her childhood friend Nana will be her companion on the adventure.

Jeff most recently has been known for presenting the Talksport breakfast show alongside Ally McCoist.

Let’s hope he doesn’t throw a wobbler.

What is the route?

Along with the cast announcement, the BBC confirmed that the race will cover an even more epic distance of 7500km, equipped with only a map, a budget of just £26 per person per day and their wits.

The teams will be setting off from the city of Kuching, in the Malaysian state of Sarawak in Northwest Borneo.

From there, they’ll traverse the prehistoric jungles and the heartlands of Borneo to reach five checkpoints across three countries and two continents, ultimately aiming for the southern tip of Australia and the finish line in Melbourne.

Tim Harcourt, Chief Creative Officer at Studio Lambert, said: ‘This year’s pairs navigate a journey that lays bare two extremes of today’s world. We can’t wait to share how they get on. Contestants give unfiltered and honest reactions to the experiences they face that are as demanding as they are joyful.

‘That’s so rare on television and it’s clear audiences love seeing their favourite stars deal with these daring challenges in spectacular worlds.’

Jasmyn McGuile, Commissioning Editor at BBC Factual Entertainment and Events, added: ‘Audiences have been asking when the Race might reach Australia, so we are delighted that they will be able to experience this unique journey for the first time in Celebrity Race Across the World. With an adventurous start in Borneo’s Sarawak rainforest, another series first, it makes for an unmissable opener for this year’s celebrity teams.’

Celebrity Race Across The World returns to BBC One and IPlayer this autumn, and Race Across The World will return next Spring.
