Who is Matti Schmid’s Girlfriend, Nora Worlke? PGA Tour Pro’s Love Life Explored

At 27, Matti Schmid only received his PGA Tour card a couple of years ago. The German golfer has been nothing but impressive ever since, getting nine top-10 finishes in 36 cuts. That’s a 25% success rate at reaching the top half of the table. The closest he has come to winning a title was in the 2023 Butterfield Bermuda Championship and the 2024 Shriners Children’s Open. On both occasions, he finished in third place, only three strokes away from taking it to the playoffs. Quite consistent, we would say.

As Schmid inches closer and closer to a win, there he has often had a positive presence cheering him on from behind the ropes. Some fans might have spotted the person, others might have missed them, but the Regensburg local always knew where to look for inspiration. In the stands, among the fans, and sometimes even on the course, Matti Schmid is accompanied by his partner-in-crime, Nora Worlke.

Although it’s no secret that the two are in love with each other, Schmid’s girlfriend likes to keep her life private. The locked Instagram profile is the biggest indicator of the same. Hence, while Nora may have been seen alongside the PGA Tour pro on a few occasions, not much is known about her. What we do know about them is that they have been together since 2017. That’s around 8 years of a beautiful relationship.

Considering that Scmid pursued is education at the University of Louisville from 2017 to 2021, there is a possibility that they might have met in college. They also shared a picture together in the campus which was posted by Matti on his Instagram. However, there is no information about Nora available on the university’s website.

The couple does get quite a few pictures taken together on the course. She was seen cheering Schmid on during his visit to TPC Sawgrass recently. Unfortunately, the German couldn’t get past the Friday of the event as he missed the cut. But it would have been a bit less hurtful with his partner by his side to support him.

While Matti Schmid travels the world for golf, Nora Worlke doesn’t mind tagging along for the trip. She accompanied the PGA Tour pro to Paris when he represented the German National Team in the 2024 Olympics.

Nora was also seen besides Matti and his caddie, as the golf duo played in the 2025 Corales Puntacana Championship. That was one of his better career performances where he finished at T9.

There is also a possibility that Nora’s birthday might be on November 3. Schmid had shared a picture of them on that day while captioning it “Happy birthday to the best! @nollynschcka,” wishing her on her birth anniversary. Other than that, based on Nora’s profile picture, it seems that they enjoy swimming in the lake.
