The Harry Potter movies were forced to condense many storylines for the sake of runtime, but in the case of the implied romance between Neville Longbottom (Matthew Lewis) and Luna Lovegood (Evanna Lynch), their actual romances aren't in the books either — but neither is their supposed romantic interest in each other. Neville and Luna are part of the sextet of leaders of Dumbledore's Army who go to the Department of Mysteries at the end of the fifth movie; they also form the de facto silver trio with Ginny Weasley (Bonnie Wright), after Harry Potter's golden trio.
