Fans are curious about Resident Evil’s digital and streaming release date. The second reboot in the film series, it focuses on a medical courier who is forced to fight bloodthirsty monsters during a delivery. Here is everything you need to know about the online release of the horror thriller.

When could Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil get its digital release date?

Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil might get its digital release date in mid-October 2026.

If Resident Evil follows the same pattern, it might come out on digital platforms sometime in mid October 2026, as it releases in theatres on September 18, 2026. Following the digital release, fans may likely have the option to buy the Zach Cregger-directorial on platforms like Amazon Prime and Apple TV, among others.

However, as mentioned above, the film’s commercial success may delay the online release. Following its streaming premiere on Netflix, viewers can access the movie through a paid subscription.
