What is an oddly specific thing you do while you’re reading?

I’ll have the tv on even thought I’m not watching tv. I’m use to the tv being on when my husband is home so I’m use to the noise playing in the background. I would get why some people wouldn’t like this though because they tend to avoid distractions. So, I always have the tv on even if my husband isn’t home watching anything.

Also, I usually have a blanket laying across my lap. This may not seem odd to some people. But I have a blanket to cover up my feet because my feet get cold easily regardless of the time of year. I also enjoy it when the cat sits in my lap. Petting the cat while it sits in your lap is comforting…..especially when it’s purring.
