The first season of the show, which starred Jenna Ortega as the titular character, Wednesday Addams, was a brilliant success for Netflix, and the hopes are that momentum will spread into the sophomore season. While solving a mystery in Season 1, Wednesday was also ingrained in a love triangle as well. So what does Season 2 hold? "Wednesday’s journey is darker and more complex as she navigates family, friends, new mysteries, and old adversaries, propelling her headlong into another year at Nevermore," the show’s creators, Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, revealed to Good Housekeeping.
