The end of an era will finally arrive later this week when S.W.A.T. bows out following a largely successful eight-season run. Despite the hopes of fans and cast members that the series might receive a last-minute decision to pull it back from the edge of extinction, the end is nigh for Hondo (Shemar Moore) and the rest of his tactical team.
